Overview
Iris Pilot is designed to work directly between your phone and a supported RED camera on a local network. Rennavation Studios does not operate an Iris Pilot account system, advertising service, analytics service, cloud image-processing service, or developer backend in this release.
Information processed by the app
To provide camera-control features, Iris Pilot temporarily processes on your device the local IPv4 address of the selected camera, live preview frames, camera settings and status, the fixed preview area you tap, brightness and contrast values derived from that area, and short-lived control state needed to keep commands ordered and current.
The app does not save preview frames, the selected area, camera telemetry, a face or identity, or camera-control history to persistent app storage in this release. Moving-person or object tracking is not included.
Network communication
Iris Pilot connects only to the local camera address you select or discover. It uses the camera’s local preview and control services to display preview, read current settings, request one autofocus point after a deliberate tap, and send a bounded Iris or Shutter command after you deliberately start automatic exposure.
The app does not upload preview frames or camera telemetry to Rennavation Studios or another cloud service. It includes no advertising, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking SDKs.
This website
This website does not use advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or third-party marketing scripts. Standard hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, requested path, and security signals to deliver and protect the site.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, topic, and message you provide are sent through Cloudflare Email Service to the published Rennavation Studios support inbox. The site does not write the message to a customer database and does not log message bodies. The email is retained in the receiving mailbox as needed to answer and document the support request.
Ask Iris product help
When you use Ask Iris, the question you enter is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate a product-help response. The site disables AI Gateway request logging and caching for this route and does not store the conversation. Cloudflare processes the request as the infrastructure provider. Do not enter passwords, private footage, private network details, or other sensitive information. You can use the static FAQ without using Ask Iris.
Purchases
Iris Pilot is sold as a paid store download. Apple or Google may process purchase, account, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and receipt data under their own terms and privacy policies. Iris Pilot does not operate a separate payment service or receive full payment-card information.
Sharing, sale, and retention
Rennavation Studios does not sell personal information from Iris Pilot. The app does not transmit locally processed camera data to Rennavation Studios for collection or sharing. Ending the session or closing the app clears in-memory session state. Contact email is retained only as needed for support and ordinary business records.
Permissions
Iris Pilot uses local-network and Internet/network-state capabilities so the phone can find and communicate with the selected camera. The release does not require access to the phone camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, Bluetooth, or advertising identifier.
Children and security
Iris Pilot is a professional camera utility and is not directed to children. Camera communication remains on the operator-selected local network. Use a trusted network and keep the camera, phone, and firmware under your control. No electronic communication method is completely secure.
Changes
If app or site data practices change, Rennavation Studios will update this policy and the applicable store disclosures before releasing the changed behavior.
